The Infinity Virus Part One

Part One

He saw it spreading, the streets crawling with the infected, he knew what his own fate would be, he opened his eyes and was pulled back to the present. He knew that there were different eventualities, different paths of fate, but this time there was no way out, this time the infinity virus would wipe life off the face of the universe....

Blade Charcoal's eyes snapped open, he was instantly awake, he knew that what he had seen was real that it would happen and he also knew that there was only one person who could truly stop it.
He pulled back the curtains, slid the balcony windows open, crouched and sprung out into the night.

Cain Sparkscourge felt a tug in his gut and sat down hard on his bed, he hadn't experienced the calling for a very long time, he understood the only thing that it could mean. He felt it again, more insistent this time, it was as if someone was playing on the strings of his soul, of his very being, he smiled, a wicked, evil smile and ran towards the wall, he dissapeared in a flurry of sparks.

He looked around the cave, his one place of solitude, undisturbed for countless millenia now felt violated by the prescence of so much tainted magic, he winced as each sorcerer appeared, it tore at his soul, all this unpure magic. "oh," he thought to himself, "they think that they are so powerful, when they are less significant even than the dust beneath their feet."
He sneered at the puny beings before him, oh how he wanted to destroy them and consume their souls, he would feast for eternity, but eternity wasn't quite long enough for him.

Chanoro Flashfreeze opened his eyes, he was encased completely in ice, it took him a moment to realise where he was, he attempted to flex his fingers and the ice shattered and flew off him in al directions, he cracked his knuckles, "fighting ice with ice," he said, "ingenious."
A figure ran across the room, he spun but found only empty air, "come out, come out wherever you are," he called, turning and scanning his surroundings, again a figure scurried across his vision but this time a spear of ice headed towards the fleeing shadow. The figure seemed to catch it, turn it around and send it back again before Chanoro could blink, he wildly flicked his wrist and the spear shattered and passed harmlessly around him. With a snarl, the figure leapt from the shadows, its claws raking across Chanoro's face, Chanoro cried out in pain and front-kicked the creature in the chest, sending it flying backwards. Chanoro advanced towards the sprawled assassin and clenched his fists, suddenly the air turned cold and Chanoro's breath came out as mist, Chanoro twirled the ring on his finger and his fists immedietely became incased in ic. He knelt down in front of the creature and gave it a crushing blow to the chin, sending it skidding away from him, across the now icy floor.
"WHO ARE YOU!?" shouted Chanoro, his voice carrying across to his would-be killer, "my name is not important, I was instructed to contain you and then when you came to, to kill you," it said with pride in its voice. "I said," Chanoro said wit hgritted teeth, "WHO. ARE YOU," he roared, each word punctuated with a projectile of ice hitting the creature in the chest. "I am," it said with blood trickling fromthe corners of its mouth, "YOU!" and it collapsed in a flurry of frost.
